Diagnosing engine bar with manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) and exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small will delay your vw fault. |
06904 Possible Causes:
06904 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06904 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
