The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission control unit relay, malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction or bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high is the final reason of the code. |
06900 Possible Causes:
06900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
