This code were stamped on VW Engine case generator shut-off, open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor bank 2, circuit low and vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06898 Possible Causes:
06898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
