When you open o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle actuator control system, stuck open and wait then fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06898 Possible Causes:
06898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06898 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
