The problem is about relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
06898 Possible Causes:
06898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06898 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
