Staring in engine bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake coolant pump control, circuit low or change engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06896 Possible Causes:
06896 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
