Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor bank 1, circuit or fuel level sensor 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
06887 Possible Causes:
06887 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06887 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
