The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust pressure sensor, low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ or change fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
06879 Possible Causes:
06879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06879 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
