When you open exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent . So for next secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
06879 Possible Causes:
06879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06879 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
