Staring in engine fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
06879 Possible Causes:
06879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06879 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
