The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
06878 Possible Causes:
06878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06878 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request b, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
