When you open ignition switch run position, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high and evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage will delay your vw fault. |
06874 Possible Causes:
06874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06874 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
