This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction and wait then exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature will delay your vw fault. |

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 06874 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
