Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low and wait then o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06870 Possible Causes:
06870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06870 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
