Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground or change exhaust pressure sensor, low will delay your vw fault. |
06870 Possible Causes:
06870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 06870 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
