The problem is about bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground or valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
06869 Possible Causes:
06869 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06869 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
