Diagnosing engine bar with ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low or change exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
06861 Possible Causes:
06861 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 06861 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
