When you open ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open or ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
06861 Possible Causes:
06861 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06861 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
