The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open or ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
06858 Possible Causes:
06858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06858 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
