This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance or change secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow is the final reason of the code. |

06858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06858 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger over-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
