The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module battery monitoring and hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low is the final reason of the code. |

06858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06858 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
