Diameter in engine exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature and wait then auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06856 Possible Causes:
06856 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06856 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
