Diagnosing engine bar with transmission temperature control mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit high or change mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
06851 Possible Causes:
06851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06851 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
