Staring in engine control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit . So for next control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
06849 Possible Causes:
06849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06849 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, driver error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
