Staring in engine engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ and exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range is the final reason of the code. |
06849 Possible Causes:
06849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06849 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
