The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault electronic control module incorrect coding run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
06845 Possible Causes:
06845 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 06845 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
