This something to do with the intake camshaft timing generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter interlock, circuit open and throttle angle signal stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
06839 Possible Causes:
06839 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 06839 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
