This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance or ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
06836 Possible Causes:
06836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 06836 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
