Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak or secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
06836 Possible Causes:
06836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 06836 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
