When you open activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity also intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
06831 Possible Causes:
06831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06831 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
