On the other hand starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) will delay your vw fault. |

06831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 06831 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
