The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel pump, short circuit . So for next secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06814 Possible Causes:
06814 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06814 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
