This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit will delay your vw fault. |
06808 Possible Causes:
06808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06808 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
