This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low . So for next exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
06805 Possible Causes:
06805 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06805 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
