Diameter in engine friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed starter interlock, circuit short to ground or exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance will delay your vw fault. |
06801 Possible Causes:
06801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06801 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
