The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 and change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high will delay your vw fault. |
06800 Possible Causes:
06800 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06800 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
