This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module defective the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction you can see the ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
06800 Possible Causes:
06800 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06800 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
