068 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox sensor bank 1, circuit low and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
068 Possible Causes:
068 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 068 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
