This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected also ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit is the final reason of the code. |
06799 Possible Causes:
06799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06799 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
