This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean and wait then please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain will delay your vw fault. |
06798 Possible Causes:
06798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06798 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
