Staring in engine internal control module, driver error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 4 above knock threshold or change evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
06791 Possible Causes:
06791 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06791 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
