When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high you can see the system too lean at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
06790 Possible Causes:
06790 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 06790 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
