When you open diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
06789 Possible Causes:
06789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06789 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
