Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor torque management feedback signal "b", high or o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
06788 Possible Causes:
06788 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06788 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
