The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, internal resistance too large to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so clutch slip control, signal too high or change ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

06748 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06748 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
