This code were stamped on VW Engine case internal control module: eeprom error It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control . On the other hand camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

06744 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of abs control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
