Staring in engine motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles controller pin coding, implausible signal and wait then secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow will delay your vw fault. |
06726 Possible Causes:
06726 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06726 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
