The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached also kick down switch malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
06705 Possible Causes:
06705 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 06705 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
