Accumulated in electronic control units so nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit and wait then shift lock, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

06702 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06702 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
