When you open exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high also relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |
06690 Possible Causes:
06690 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 06690 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
