Staring in engine please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit or change post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit will delay your vw fault. |
06686 Possible Causes:
06686 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06686 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
