This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground or coolant pump control, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |

06685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06685 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
