The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06661 Possible Causes:
06661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 06661 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
