The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of transmission ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor kick down switch malfunction or change data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller will delay your vw fault. |
06654 Possible Causes:
06654 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06654 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
