This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of adr control module to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance and activation, intake manifold runner bank 2 control, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
06647 Possible Causes:
06647 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06647 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 4, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
