The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |

06646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06646 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
