When you open injection pump, timing calibration not learned it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 also bank 2, system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
06646 Possible Causes:
06646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 06646 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
