The problem is about evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance and different wheel speed signals, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
06641 Possible Causes:
06641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 06641 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
