06601 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high you can see the diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
06601 Possible Causes:
06601 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 06601 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
