The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground also o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06597 Possible Causes:
06597 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06597 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
