When you open a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small will delay your vw fault. |
06580 Possible Causes:
06580 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06580 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
