The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ you can see the glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
06561 Possible Causes:
06561 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06561 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
