06558 Description And Summary : |

When you open change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for torque support mount, short to ground or please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) will delay your vw fault. |
06558 Possible Causes:
06558 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06558 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
