Accumulated in electronic control units so intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit high or starter interlock, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
06557 Possible Causes:
06557 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 06557 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
